It looks like Gwen Stefani is pregnant with her baby #4!

Stefani has three children from her previous marriage with her then-husband Gavin Rossdale. The duo got married in 2002, and 13 years later, they ended up getting divorced in 2015.

The same year, in November 2015, she announced her relationship with her The Voice co-star and current partner, Blake Shelton. After dating for five years, the duo announced their engagement on October 27, 2020.

Then, on July 3, 2021, they got married in a beautiful ceremony at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch. Since the couple’s wedding ceremony, people have often questioned whether Stefani would welcome one more child.

Despite being together with her husband for eight years, Stefani and Shelton do not have any children together.

However, Stefani has often hinted about being pregnant with baby no. 4. In April 2016, the ‘Hollaback Girl’ pranked her fans and followers by posting a sonogram of a baby girl with the caption, “It’s a girl!”

Netizens were elated to know about Stefani’s pregnancy only to realize that she had played a prank on them on the occasion of April Fool’s.

Then, the singer took to Instagram in late December 2022 to upload a photo of herself clutching a strange, slender, rectangular-shaped device that was pixilated, making identification difficult, with the caption: “It’s getting harder to keep this a secret.”

Although people immediately assumed it was a pregnancy test, it was a new product in her GXVE make-up brand. 

Since then, there have been many times when Stefani has talked about being a mother and how much she loves motherhood. So naturally, people expected her to be pregnant with her fourth baby.

Throughout the years, there have been various news that have claimed that Stefani is pregnant with her fourth child. For instance, in 2017, Radar Online reported that she was pregnant with the help of IVF.

They mentioned how the singer was several months along after planning their fourth child for a couple of months. 

A source told the tabloid, “Gwen adores being a mom and Blake has had babies on the brain for months, especially after getting to know Gwen’s boys. They knew they didn’t have time to waste, so they planned this pregnancy out, down to the last detail.”

According to a source, the expectant mother has been attending an IVF facility in Torrance, California, and has been combining those procedures with fertility-specific acupuncture, a practice she used before conceiving her third child, Apollo.

After realizing that they were pregnant, Stefani and her husband cleared their schedule to prepare for their baby. A source noted that child was their top priority and said, “They were so emotional and overwhelmed when they found out, and now they’re just focused on everything going smoothly. This baby is something they’ve both wanted for a long time.”

Radar Online went on to say that Stefani did not know if she could get pregnant at 47 (her age at the time), so she went to an IVF doctor with a high success rate. She knew that Shelton would be a great father and allegedly wanted to give him a baby of her own.

“She wanted to give him a child of his own, and she knew that at this stage in the game, going through the grueling process of IVF was the only way — and would be worth it in the end,” an insider said.

Then, in December 2022, Mom.com reported that Stefani was pregnant with a baby girl and buying clothes for her. Despite all the rumors, neither Stefani nor Shelton has confessed that they are pregnant with a baby.

Stefani first met Bush lead singer and guitarist Rossdale in 1995, during a Christmas event for radio station KROQ. They married on September 14, 2002, at London’s St Paul’s, Covent Garden. 

Two weeks later, a second wedding took place in Los Angeles. Stefani and Rossdale have three kids —  Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, born on May 26, 2006, August 21, 2008, and February 28, 2014, respectively.

Stefani filed for divorce from Rossdale on August 3, 2015, alleging irreconcilable differences. Rossdale agreed to an unequal split of their assets in their divorce, which was finalized on April 8, 2016.

Despite their divorce, Stefani co-parents her children with her former partner. Moreover, Shelton has also stepped up and become a father figure for Stefani’s kids.

Stefani has mentioned how Shelton has helped her raise her kids since her divorce from her former husband. She told Prevention, “He’s been helping me out a lot. I get to the point where I’m like ‘hurry up and get home I need help!’”

On KFROG’s The Ride with Kimo & Heather, Shelton talked about being a stepfather to the children. He talked about his own stepfather and said how he is one of his heroes.

He added, “I love my stepfather and I look up to him and he’s like a father to me, so I have a good inspiration in my life for how to do this and the kind of stepdad I want to be. And I take it very seriously.”

Taking his own stepfather as his role model, Shelton has become a father to Stefani’s kids. However, he is also enjoying his role.

He pointed out, “But I also have a blast with it, I’m not gonna lie. I don’t take it so serious that I’m not enjoying this time because I really am, especially now that we’re five years into this thing.”

Before getting married to Stefani, Shelton initially asked the children for their permission. A source told People, “Blake told her boys that he wanted to propose and asked their permission. Her family very much approves of him. He’s an amazing partner and a great extra dad to the boys. Gwen is ecstatic. The proposal was a surprise.”

All in all, Shelton loves Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo a lot and is helping his partner as much as possible to be the best parents for the kids. He even said, “I can’t imagine my life without these kids now.”
